Hello my lovelies,
Congratulations! You’ve made it to April! And with that turn of the calendar page it means we are that much closer to Easter. While it might be easier to rock a new pair of sweatpants, treating yourself to a new dress might be just what the doctor ordered. I know I’m excited to break out my new dress and shoes for the grand old adventure of heading to my living room for church. =P
I thought I would find some affordable dress options for you that can be purchased online and delivered right to your door before Easter.
When shopping for holiday dresses, I’m normally looking for something that’s a fun color, preferably with pockets and patterned. For example, this was my outfit from last Easter.

I got this dress from JCPenney (JCP) during their 50% off clearance sale at the end of the previous summer. While it’s not quite as fun to wait for so long to get to wear your dress, there is something to be said for finding a fashion gem that’s less than $15.
The shoes were under $5 from JCP after coupons during their Winter clearance sale. The little bows are a fun addition to an otherwise basic cognac heeled sandal. Similar shoes with other unique detailing can be found at most big retailers. I really like this option from JCP and this pair from Kohl’s.
If you’ve ever heard the song “Easter Parade,” then you know that Easter is the perfect time to wear a hat, since “I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet.” Mine is from Old Navy and a similar option can be purchased here.
This period of quarantine and limbo is a great time to support small businesses. One way is to shop for your Easter dress on Poshmark. It’s free to sign up, you’ll get a good deal on new or like new items, and you’ll be helping put food on the table for someone at the same time! It’s also great for keeping clothing out of landfills—you’re giving it a new life! I’ve recently started using Poshmark as a buying and selling platform and have seen so many cute dresses that would be perfect!

This blue dress is gorgeous and still has the tags attached! The smocked sleeves are very “Anne of Green Gables” and the color is straight out of Cinderella’s wardrobe.

A floral maxi dress like this one is appropriate for church, with fun details like a braided neckline. It also has a slit for easy movement.

Hot pink, a color that you just have to smile when you see is another good choice. This tank style fit and flare dress is lovely. It can easily be worn with a jacket, and can be dressed up or down depending on accessories.
Easter is a celebration of life! Especially this year, we need to remember that! Stay safe my loves!
xoxo.
