Autumn is Here!

Hello my lovelies,

There are only two days left of summer and I am so ready for fall. Bring on pumpkin spice everything, jewel tones and scarves! =)

Since I live in the Philippines, it can be challenging to dress like it’s fall while the “feel-like” temperatures are in the 80’s. I try to compromise by wearing warm weather items that are in the colors and patterns of fall.

At only 150 pesos/$3, this racerback tank dress was a steal. The deep reds, mustards and greens are perfect for fall, and the light cotton fabric ensures I don’t pass out from heat stroke. I like my dresses to have a bit of shape, so the smocked waistband is perfect. This dress also travels well since it can be shoved into a suitcase and yet arrive at its destination wrinkle-free.

Other autumnal floral dresses such as this one and this one look lovely paired with cardigans or on their own. Add gold and neutral accessories and your “fall” look is complete.
