Hello my lovelies,

{Sorry that I’ve been AWOL for so long, but school started at the beginning of this month, and it’s been crazy trying to find time for writing posts and taking pictures for new content. I’m going to try my best to write more regularly, but forgive me if it’s not weekly!}

Starting a new school year is a great reason to buy new clothes. As the seasons change, new sweaters, jewelry and boots are a must! The only thing better than getting new clothes is getting them for FREE! Shopping is justifiable if you’re getting a good deal, right? I recently started using Ebates, a downloadable computer extension that gives you money back on your online purchases. It doesn’t require you to do anything extra, and the savings can really add up! If you sign up for the program with this link, then you and I both get $5 to spend on a special wardrobe treat—

I had been saving up my Ebates money for some new fall pieces, so I was excited to place a $100+ Old Navy order that I only had to pay for shipping (~$5). The items haven’t reached me yet (overseas shopping does have its downsides), but here are the stock photos, along with styling ideas.

1. This teal polka-dot halter swing dress is a great transitional piece. During late summer/early fall it can be worn with booties and a light scarf, and during the winter an oatmeal cardigan, tights and knee high boots complement the dress nicely

2. My favorite color for this fall is burgundy/Bordeaux (as you’ll be able to tell once you see the rest of my order =)) My eye is instantly drawn to it, and the deep jewel tone reminds me of changing leaves and mulled cider. This high-neck trapeze tank is very flattering if you have athletic shoulders and it covers up any stomach imperfections. It also comes in gray, navy and light green.

3. Just the name of this dress is beautiful and sophisticated—“Marion Berry.” I love the embroidery on the bodice and hem and look forward to wearing it with thick sweaters, sparkly earrings and heeled boots. Dressing up for a new season is so much fun!

4. This dress was on super sale (less than $10/450 pesos), so I picked it up for next summer. The cut is great for grab-and-go days, and the pattern can be dressed up or down. I ordered it in the black and white stripe (currently out of stock), but this burgundy stripe is also pretty. The stripes give off a preppy vibe.

5. My favorite item from this FREE online shopping order was this pair of wine faux-suede heeled booties. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how different and unexpected it is from the typical black or brown pair of boots. The fringed zipper is a fun design detail. I’m already planning on wearing them with black ribbed tights, a dark gray body con skirt and an oversized cable-knit sweater in black or gray. The boots are only available in size 8 now, but I've linked up a couple other pairs of wine boots. This pair from Lulu's is more of a cranberry color, while these Zappos boots have a wedge heel. DSW also has a lot of cute wine booties like this pair.

I hope you all are having a great start to your school year! What items are you planning on picking up/already picked up for back to school? Labor Day sales are just around the corner…. =)

Xoxo
