The Heat Never Bothered Me Anyway

Hello my lovelies,
I’ve wanted to be a princess since I was a little girl. There’s just something about the graceful, well-dressed, and beautiful women of both Disney and real-life that draws me in and makes me yearn to wear a tiara (The seemingly unlimited shoe budget doesn’t hurt either =)). Call me cheesy, but every girl deserves to at least feel like a princess once in her life.
Sometimes I like to dress up like some of my favorite fictional princesses. Cinderella, Belle, Aurora—there are so many options to choose from! Here is a super easy warm-weather outfit that channels your inner Elsa!

I started with a white short-sleeved peplum top from Forever 21. Resembling snow, white is a great base for building the rest of your ensemble. You can purchase a similar top here and here. Peplum tops highlight the smallest part of your torso, and hide any potential muffin top.

I then added a light aqua maxi skirt from Wet Seal. I normally don’t shop at Wet Seal, since they can be expensive for lower quality items (think a cheaper Forever 21). But, last summer at the end of the season they were having a crazy sale! This skirt was only $4! At that price I couldn’t resist! It might be worth checking out their website to see if they have any other great deals at the end of this summer too! I would size up in any bottoms, since they run a little small. Kohl’s has a couple super cute “Frozen”-themed skirt options, from a blue patterned stretch maxi, to a baby blue gauze midi.

I paired the look with sparkly sandals, because what Ice Queen doesn’t enjoy a little bling?

Since my hair is shorter now, I went with the “Coronation” Elsa twist bun, but it would be easy to put longer hair in either a fishtail or regular three-strand braid. Glitter clips or a silver headband would complete the hairstyle!
Looking like a princess can be achievable, regardless of bloodline! ;)

And every princess needs her prince……=)

Hope you're having a magical summer!
xoxo
