Sale? Consider me Sold.

If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s a good sale! Really, it’s a terrible weakness….but I don’t mind succumbing! The key to finding great sale pieces is to always keep your eyes open. Don’t be deceived by the sale items in the front of stores. They’re normally more expensive. Instead, dive into the back rounders and shelves for clothing and accessory treasures!

I found this Shana skirt for only 200 pesos/$4 (more than 70% off) and knew that I had to add it to my wardrobe! The handkerchief hem adds interest and the darker floral makes it a perfect transition piece from winter into spring. I plan on adding tights with it during cooler months too! When a piece can work for all seasons, consider it a keeper!

I wore it on a recent ramen run with a white V-neck and Keds. The cotton material is sooooo soft! I also love the garterized waistband. Tucking shirts into skirts is super annoying when waistbands don’t lie flat. This skirt stayed in place for the whole afternoon!

I look forward to styling this skirt in the future. I could try it with a chambray shirt, or a colored blouse that will pick up the maroon and light pink flowers in the print. Darker patterned skirts almost read like a neutral palette, so the outfit possibilities are endless!

Xoxo
