Hello lovelies,
I hope you all had a FANTASTIC Easter celebrating our Savior with your friends and family! Am I the only one who’s already had enough leftover egg dishes? :)
For my Easter dress this year I chose this blue floral Apt. 9 sleeveless number. Bright colors are so happy and festive. The fact I found the dress on a Kohl’s clearance rack for only $15 was a bonus! It’s no longer available, but I’ve linked up a similar dress from the same brand here (it looks like a watercolor painting). I’ve talked about fit and flare dresses on the blog before, but they really are the most flattering cut out there! I think I have three or four in my closet right now.

I love the “spin-ability” of the skirt, and the cinched waist and thin belt hide all imperfections. This dress has a unique layered fabric look on the neckline, which is good for girls who are smaller on top!
Dresses with crewnecks or a slight scoop are the safest necklines for elementary teachers, so I know this dress will make its way to my classroom! No need to worry about showing too much skin when bending over or sitting on the floor with students. Teachers can be cute and chic too!

For me, gold or silver pumps are basically a fun version of a neutral shoe. My silver glitter clutch is the perfect size for necessities (I can fit my phone, lipstick, money and keys inside) and makes any nail color pop. {Disclaimer: Please don’t over-accessorize. If you go with a sparkly bag and shoes, keep your jewelry toned down. There IS such a thing as looking too much like a disco ball!}

If you know me, you know that I loooove painting my nails. I normally do my nails once a week and getting them done at a salon is a super-relaxing splurge! This polish is by Sinful Colors ($2 at drug stores) and lasts almost a week without chips!
Let me know what your Easter ensemble looked like in the comments below!
Xoxo
