“Playing dress up begins at age five and never truly ends" - Kate Spade
There is something so empowering in dressing up. It does not matter what the occasion, taking time in your appearance makes you smile wider and hold your head higher. When I have a particularly big event coming up I like to plan my outfit at least a day ahead of time. It’s fun to pick out a dress, shoes and accessories that will pop! And being prepared means I won’t have any last-minute, “Now where did I put ____?” :)
This F21 burgundy lace bodycon dress is perfect for attending a concert or a nice dinner out, and at less than $30 (1500 pesos) it won’t break the bank either! This particular dress is no longer available in stores but I’ve linked a few similar dresses here and here.

A lace dress can be worn with flats or pumps, depending on the occasion. A nude pump is always nice, since it elongates the leg and doesn't distract from the color of the dress. If you're in a colder climate you can throw on a pair of black opaque tights to keep your legs warm.
I like to wear dresses that have some sort of "wow" factor, so this low back is perfect! It's important to remember that if you're going to focus on one particular element of a dress, your hair and jewelry shouldn't be distracting. With lace, a soft updo and small chandelier earrings are just right.
